So...begins the blog. Actually, this is my (insert large number) time at attempting to create a blog. I have no technological intelligence and have actually caused a computer to smoke at one point. I truly believe that I have some genetic anomaly that is incompatible with technology. I am sure that my colleagues and Technology Director can attest to this fact. And yet, I have managed to fall into a white-rabbit-tangent-hole before I even finished my first paragraph. If anyone is still reading this, my apologies. 

As with many great ideas (think Communism in its pure form),  the application of an idea might actually be its downfall (again, think Communism - in practice). The current brain thrust for this activity is for my children (mainly the girls because I doubt my son has any real desire to make anything other than eggs in the kitchen). I wanted to create a digital cookbook - one that would be easy to organize, maneuver, and stand the test of time (a.k.a. how on earth can I corral the multitude of recipes and cookbooks on the shelves in my kitchen). Hence, this new post, update, attempt at being technologically savvy.
